Unexpected challenges during our stay

The highlights included a helpful breakfast with bananas—a rarity at motels—alongside a warm and friendly clerk who eased our check-in process. We felt comforted after a long day's drive.

Unfortunately, the room we were assigned had a chilly temperature upon arrival, and the overall maintenance left much to be desired. The lack of warm heating made our initial hours quite uncomfortable.

The moments at Desoto Inn & Suites had some positive aspects but many issues as well. The pool was a great feature, but unfortunately, it was out of order during our visit. The arrival was disappointing with the room temperature at a chilling 40 degrees. It took a while to warm up. The clerk at check-in struggled with clear communication, which made the process quite frustrating. On a brighter note, I appreciated that breakfast included bananas, which is a rarity in many motels. However, internet access was nearly nonexistent, which was incredibly inconvenient. The overall experience left much to be desired due to the freezing conditions and poor connectivity.

I enjoyed the warm welcome from the staff and the comfortable room, but was disappointed by the badly maintained breakfast options and the empty front desk at night.

Entirely satisfied

The room was freezing when we arrived, around 40 degrees, which made it super uncomfortable at first. We switched rooms because the first one smelled like smoke, and the second one had some mold and ants on the A/C, which wasn't cool. Definitely not the relaxing stay we hoped for.

desoto inn & suites is conveniently close to family and has a pool, which I was excited about. the staff was friendly and welcoming, making the check-in process easy and pleasant.

The room had a flat-screen TV and free toiletries. There was a coffee machine and refrigerator, which was handy. The private bathroom had a nice bath and shower. Towels and shampoo were provided. Wake-up service was a plus. A good spot to relax.

We had a cozy stay at Desoto Inn & Suites! The staff made check-in super easy and welcoming. We were really looking forward to the pool, and although it was out of order, the accessible guest rooms were well-equipped with everything we needed. Plus, the breakfast included bananas, which was a nice treat!
